Becoming yourself is one of the greatest adventures there is.
The Big Sister Project is a coaching journey for girls aged 12–18 who are ready to grow in confidence, discover who they are, and take their first bold steps into emerging adulthood—with support, encouragement, and research-based guidance.
This course is everything I wanted and needed when I was an adolescent - Amelia
Rooted in the science of adolescent development and delivered with the heart of a big sister, this program is about believing in who you’re becoming—even when you’re still figuring it out.
The Big Sister Project is an 8–10 week coaching experience designed to help girls:
Understand why adolescence is such a powerful and important time
Learn how their brains, habits, and choices shape their futures
Explore identity, purpose, and passion
Build healthy relationships and strong emotional skills
Take positive risks that fuel growth and confidence
Set meaningful goals for the next chapter of their lives
Prepare for emerging adulthood
Every session is a mix of discussion, reflection, creative activities, and real-life tools—woven with encouragement, care, and honesty.
Adolescence is a once-in-a-lifetime window of brain plasticity and possibility.
The habits, dreams, and relationships built during these years shape not just teenage life, but adult success, happiness, and contribution to the world.
At the Big Sister Project, we believe girls deserve:
A safe space to ask big questions
A guide who listens without judgment
Tools to build a life you want and you're proud of
This isn’t school. This isn’t therapy. This is a space to grow into yourself. Think of me as a coach, a mentor, or a big sister.
We are currently recruiting our first group of girls for a free pilot program launching Summer 2025!
Ages: 12–18 years old
Location: Virtual–join from anywhere–but you must NOT be residing in the US (this is to accommodate student visa restrictions).
Cost: Free for our founding group
Commitment: You can volunteer for one session (50 minutes) or multiple sessions. It's really up to you! This pilot will involve casual conversations and feedback in order to tailor the program to suit client needs. These conversations will occur over Zoom/Teams. Imagine having a slow-paced conversation with someone about you and your interests. You'll also be asked to provide opinions, comments, and feedback on how your coach interacts with you and the topics covered. Engagement and interaction in reflective activities are entirely your choice.
Time: you decide!
If you’re curious, excited, or even a little nervous—that’s perfect.
You don’t have to be confident yet.
You just have to be willing to show up for yourself.
Interested?
Parents or guardians, please download and complete this consent form and send it to ameliamlw@gmail.com. Please note, we are only accepting non-US clients. This is due to graduate student visa restrictions. Your coach is in graduate school in California. If you are an adolescent reaching out directly, you and your parent/guardian will need to sign and submit a copy of the consent form.
We’ll send you more details about what to expect, and invite you to a short welcome call to see if it’s a good fit!
Spaces are limited because we want to keep this first group small, personal, and powerful.
We can’t wait to meet you.
